TYMA TG-12 – Solid Top Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar
Classic Styling. Modern Engineering.
The Tyma TG12 is a sophisticated instrument designed for the player who appreciates vintage aesthetics but demands modern performance. As the Grand Auditorium model of the 12 Series, it offers a versatile, balanced voice that is perfect for everything from delicate fingerstyle to robust strumming.
This model features a Solid Engelmann Spruce top (or Solid Sitka Spruce, depending on the specific run), known for its complex overtones and responsiveness to a light touch. This is paired with Rosewood back and sides, delivering the deep, scooping lows and sparkling highs that have defined the sound of acoustic music for generations.
What sets the TG12 apart is its internal architecture. It utilizes Tyma’s advanced Double V-Bracing, a feature typically found on their flagship all-solid models. This allows the solid top to vibrate more freely, resulting in superior volume and sustain compared to standard X-braced guitars. Externally, it is dressed to impress with vintage-style Herringbone binding and Nickel Open-Back tuners.
